Chris Shahinian is the Director of TUMO International, bringing free-of-charge digital education to over 35,000 teens across 10+ countries. With extensive experience scaling growth and innovation across the financial and professional services sectors, Chris previously held senior roles at American Express and Ernst & Young. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Professional Accounting from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Chris Shahinian believes that today’s youth should have access to free-of-charge educational programs in the disciplines that will equip them to overcome the challenges of tomorrow. As the Director of TUMO International, Chris brings this mission to life daily.

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is an innovative and free-of-charge digital education program that puts teens in charge of learning. TUMO’s learning program comprises self-learning activities, workshops, and project labs around 14 learning targets. Over 35,000 teens aged 12-18 across 10+ countries attend TUMO centres worldwide after school to learn the latest in technology and design.

 

Chris has extensive experience in achieving growth at scale across the financial and professional services sectors. He has held senior positions at American Express and Ernst and Young, serving as Director of Business Development across APAC for American Express’ largest global commercial clients and at EY in roles across Advisory and Audit. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Professional Accounting from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
